Today was one of those unscheduled days off. I threw my back out last night, after I simply raised my arms up. Yay for aging. The body is not as resilient as it was when I was 18.
So, I spent the day, laying on the living room floor, stretching, using heating pads, drinking tea and hardly moving.
Breakfast: Multigrain Toasted Bread with Mini Sausages and Apples.
Snacks: Apples and Nuts and a Slice of Cheese and a Bar. I know, I know, I shouldn’t be laying down and eating, but my back is killing me. Please don’t mind the mess (at my feet are curtains I bought in India last year)–all the stuff from the bedroom is currently in the living room, while the paint fully dries and we get our new bed frame in. It is funny how a back ache makes you slow down, read and can allow you to stay in your PJs and comfy robe all day.
Lupper: Because I hardly could move today, I wasn’t very hungry, nor did I want to spend too much time standing. So all I had was this meal of Chicken, Rice and Egg Plant.
